MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP -- Firefighters were called out to another blaze in Northumberland County on Saturday.
According to emergency dispatchers, the fire started at a home on Girard and Mulberry Streets around 3:30 p.m.
There is no word yet if anyone lived in the home, or how the fire started.
In the past week there have been three fires in the village that have destroyed six garages and two homes. Two of the fires were on West Girard Street.
The Mount Carmel Police Chief believes those fires are connected.
