The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins used three goals in the 3rd period to defeat the Binghamton Senators 3-2 on Thursday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Down 1-0 going into the 3rd period the Penguins used a short-handed goal from Zach Sill to tie the game at 1-1.

Then with 2:16 to go in regulation the Senators took a hooking penalty and the Penguins capitalized on the call with a power play goal from Riley Holzapfel. The assist went to Trevor Smith a sweet pass from behind the net to Riley for the go-ahead goal. The Penguins added an empty netter and Binghamton scored with 1.5 seconds left on the clock to make it 3-2 and that's how it ended. The Penguins complete the sweep on Binghamton and await their next opponent. My MVP for the series Trevor Smith for his great read to help win game 1 and the assist on the game winner in-game three.

Just a note from the shooters deck. Lets go Pens. Enjoy the raw highlights. I did.
