JERSEY SHORE — A man from Lycoming County is charged with stealing more than a half-million dollars from a non-profit organization that he founded.
Investigators say James McCloy, 46, of Jersey Shore took more than $530,000 from Susquehanna House from 2009 until last year.
The organization provides foster care, transitional living, and day treatment for youngsters in central Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Police say McCloy used some of the money for gambling, trips to strip clubs, and a divorce settlement.
