DICKSON CITY — Toilet problems in a Lackawanna County apartment building aided police in stopping a drug operation, according to authorities.
Investigators said around 2 a.m. Friday, Dickson City police and the city’s fire department were called to a building in the 1000 block of Main Street because a blocked toilet was causing flooding.
According to officers, upon arrival they discovered indoor marijuana plants inside the apartment with the clogged toilet. Police said they found about a dozen plants, marijuana seeds, scales and drug paraphernalia.
Police arrested Cody Turner, the owner of the apartment.
Turner, 19, faces a number of drug charges. He was locked up in the Lackawanna County Prison.
