NEWPORT TOWNSHIP -- The Great American Cleanup is underway in Pennsylvania.
How you can get involved is this weeks Power to Save.
There are many events throughout our area to pick up litter and trash. One of them is along the main roads through Newport Township in Luzerne County.
Volunteers are needed to help in Glen Lyon, Wanamie and other parts of the community.
You can meet at the township building Saturday at 8 a.m.
