CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP — A woman who police believe drove from Wisconsin to the Poconos to shoot her daughter-in-law has been found dead.

State police say Carol Yeugelowitz was found dead inside her Wisconsin home Tuesday, the same day attempted homicide charges were filed against her.

According to Investigators, Yeugelowitz drove to Bernadette O’Reilly’s home near Brodheadsville in February.  When O’Reilly answered her door, her mother-in-law dressed like a postal worker handed her a package, and then shot her.

O’Reilly recovered.

Yeugelowitz’s attorney told troopers she was found dead inside her home Tuesday from an apparent suicide.
