SCRANTON -- Most of the stars of the popular television show, "The Office" are scheduled to be in Scranton this weekend for festivities celebrating the show's finale and businesses in The Electric City are gearing up for more customers.

Thousands of tickets have already been sold for "The Office" events.

The television show features employees of a paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

The Radisson Lackawanna Station hotel in the city is already booked.

"I try not to be excited about these things but I'm pretty excited!" said manager Michael Kearney.

Over the years, the show has featured several places in Lackawanna County including Poor Richard's Pub inside South Side Bowl in Scranton.

"It's good. It's good for business and it's good for the city, really," said David Esken, of Poor Richard's Pub.

There have been "The Office" tours of Scranton and businesses mentioned on the show, and conventions too, like in 2007 when people packed Cooper's Seafood House in the city.

"We are one that was mentioned probably at least five or seven times. It was great. They had some inside shots of the place," said restaurant manager Candace Travis.

Travis said she has been working on the schedule for weeks and also has extra staffers coming in.

"We have all the rooms open. The dock (is a) big draw because it's supposed to be beautiful this weekend, 70 degrees and we have bartenders serving fancy drinks and clams and lots of seafood, should be a terrific time," she said.
