DUPONT — A street in Luzerne County is blocked off because of a sinkhole.

Officials from the Dupont borough said the hole in the 600 block of Pine Street in Dupont is about 25 feet deep.

Officials with the Bureau of Abandoned Mines were in town Monday afternoon checking it out.

It’s not clear how long it will take before the hole is filled in and the road reopened.
