WBS Penguins 3-2 Overtime Win Over Binghamton

Trevor Smith was outstanding on face-offs in overtime on Saturday at the Broome County Arena in Game 1 against the Binghamton Senators. His play along with goalie Jeff Zatkoff allowed for Chad Kolarik's game winning goal in overtime and a 3-2 win to put the WBS Penguins up 1-0 in this best of five I-81 series.

Smith drove to the net in overtime giving way for Kolarik to score the game winner and his second of the night. Brian Gibbons added the other goal on a first period power play.

The WBS Penguins and the B-Sens play on Sunday in Game 2 at 5:35pm. The Penguins return home for Game 3 on Thursday night May 2nd at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Game 4 is Saturday at home if necessary.
