Stamp Out Hunger Annual Food Drive
National Association of Letter Carriers will hold the Stamp Out Hunger Annual Food Drive by collecting non-perishable food items in cans, boxes, & non-glass containers to help needy families in the local community. You can help by placing a food donation at your mailbox on Saturday, May 11. Please include food items which are labeled with non-expired dates.
Astronomy Day
Lackawanna Astronomical Society celebrates Astronomy Day at Keystone College’s Thomas G. Cupillari Observatory outside Fleetville on May 11 beginning at 7 p.m. Weather permitting, telescopes will be set up to view planets, star clusters & galaxies. Admission is free, and you must dress warmly for the chilly evening temperatures.
