PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP — Investigators in Luzerne County say a property owner will be cited for dangerous burning.
Plymouth Township’s fire chief says a fire on a property along Route 11 near Nanticoke got out of control and spread to the mountain.
It happened Sunday afternoon.
Crews from several departments were called out.
Gusty winds made fighting the fire difficult.
In addition to battling the fire from the ground, the department of forestry used planes to help douse the flames.
