Man Killed in One Car Wreck

BLACK CREEK TOWNSHIP — State police in Luzerne County said a man was killed in a one car crash early Friday morning.

Troopers said Paul Sokolofski, 38, of Black Creek Township died after his car slammed into a tree.

The crash happened on Tomhicken Road near Conyngham around 1:30 Friday morning.

According to state police, Sokolofski’s car drove off the road, hit a tree, and flipped onto its side.  Troopers said he was not wearing a seat belt.
