Business Struck By Car

SCRANTON -- A driver slammed into a seafood business in Scranton Monday, according to police.

It happened around noon. The driver told police her gas pedal got stuck as she was turning onto Ripple Street from Pittston Avenue.

The car slammed into the South Side Seafood building.

The building and the car have some damage.

Police say they do not expect to cite the driver.
