I stopped and walked over, and there I found dragonflies enjoying the morning as much as I. I took off my shoes, rolled up my jeans, and waded in (snapping turtles, or water snakes be darned) and took the shot! My name is Alisa Keiper from East Stroudsburg, PA

  • We take daily hikes on the Appalachian Trail from the top of Bangor Mountain regularly, and we always stop at a clearing in the forest that is covered with Bee Balm, and this summer, a bounty of butterflies! This yellow swallowtail actually walked on my hand as I was taking the photo, but I did manage to get this one just before it decided to see what I was up to! Alisa Keiper from East Stroudsburg, PA
