EAST STROUDSBURG — Children in Monroe County took part in a Easter egg hunt Sunday afternoon to raise money for a community center.
Over 300 kids got together at Dansbury Park in East Stroudsburg to search in the post-holiday egg hunt. There were 25,000 eggs hidden for the children’s enjoyment.
The contents of the eggs varied from candy to gift certificates. Entering in the hunt cost $15.00 per person or $50.00 for a family.
Other activities included a bounce house and a magic show. All the money raised will help with the renovation of a gym at the Day Street Community Center.
