Once you got the clothes and the jewelry, what about the hair?  One simple way to cut costs is by visiting area cosmetology schools, including Empire Beauty School.

"It`s a great way to save money. It`ll be a great experience for all of us. Our expert teachers are all licensed cosmetologist.  It`ll be a really nice experience for the students and for you to get your hair done," said student Danielle Reich, of Milford.

"At a full blown salon, you can get your hair done anywhere from $65.00 to $100.00 dollars depending on the length."
