KELLY TOWNSHIP — Weeks after an ATV crash near Lewisburg injured a young girl, state police filed charges against the driver of the vehicle.
Charges against Jeffrey Thomas, 49, of Lewisburg, were filed at a magistrate’s office in late March. Thomas is charged with recklessly endangering another person and with endangering the welfare of a child.
According to state police, Thomas was riding an ATV near Lewisburg on February 3. A four-year-old girl was a passenger. Troopers say the ATV crashed and the girl suffered a broken leg. Thomas was also hurt.
Thomas is scheduled for a hearing next month in Union County.
