SCRANTON -- The sun was shining on folks out to enjoy First Friday in downtown Scranton.
The monthly event features activities and art displays in the Electric City.
Although it has been spring for a while, it certainly has not felt that way, and some saID they have been getting spring fever.
Sebastian and Alexis Ramagnano were visiting Scranton from Philadelphia.
They stopped to enjoy some juggling with their two-year-old daughter.
"It's nice to be able to get out onto the streets and enjoy the sun," said Sebastian.
It's pretty refreshing to be able to get the little one out and be able to walk around and enjoy the sunshine," agreed Alexis.
This was the first Friday of the year Franko The Clown was able to wear short sleeves.
He said it makes his job easier and gives him more time to hone his skills and clown around outside.
He was happy about the warm-up and he was not alone.
There were joggers and children playing on the lawn of the Lackawanna County Courthouse, enjoying the fresh air.
"I knew it was going to be a good day and it has proven to be a very lovely day," said Camille Reinecke of Dunmore, a student at the University of Scranton.
