MAHONING TOWNSHIP – A woman who admitted giving her family members discounts at the day care center where she worked was sentenced in Montour County.
Karen Kruleski was sentenced Thursday morning to 18 months probation. Four months of that will be spent on house arrest with an electronic monitoring bracelet.
Kruleski was in charge of billing at the Busy Little Beavers day care near Danville and admitted giving relatives unauthorized discounts between 2009 and 2011. She was charged in February of 2012.
She must also pay back all of the money, about $16,000. Kruleski was also fined $500 and must do 40 hours of community service.
