Police in central New York arrested a young man from Wayne County on a rape charge.
According to published reports, Peter Mesko from Honesdale is a senior wrestler for Cornell University.
Police in Ithaca believe he raped a sleeping woman early Saturday morning.
Mesko is due back in court Friday in New York.
