MOOSIC -- After a year of work, taxpayers in Lackawanna County are finally getting the chance to see where millions of their dollars went.

Newswatch 16's Ryan Leckey stopped by the revamped PNC Field.  It's gates open this week.

While some parts of the stadium are entirely new others just got a little facelift and that includes the home team's clubhouse.

"(The team's locker room) is one of the areas that existed, it`s not brand new, but it is totally reconditioned.  We`ve got brand new carpeting, new paint job, new furniture coming in. We have railrider chairs here for the home club house," said Jeremy Ruby with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.

"We`ve put about $50,000 to $60,000 into this area including an additional double batting tunnel.  This is their home away from home.  The Yankees do it right. This is a big beautiful area. 8000 square feet. Weight room, meeting room, a lot of things. They can hang out, come in here early, leave late.  This truly is their apartment."
