Man Arrested After Home Invasion

SCRANTON — A man was arrested on Friday for a home invasion in Scranton.

Police said Jalel Monroe, 17, along with four other males broke into the house on Prospect Avenue around 6 p.m. on Thursday. Monroe pointed a gun at the man in the home, and another man stabbed the victim.

According to police, the men took an Xbox and left the home.

Police identified Monroe through Facebook and took him into custody on Friday.

He is charged with aggravated assault, robbery, and several other charges.
