HAZLETON — Parishioners At St. Gabriel’s in Hazleton observed Good Friday with a reenactment of the living stations of the cross.
Similar observances were held in communities throughout our area.
In Hazleton, hundreds walked through the city Friday afternoon, praying and making various stops along the way.
Participants tell us this was the fourth year the reenactment was done in Spanish.
Good Friday is the most solemn day of the year on the Christian calendar, as the faithful observe the day Jesus Christ was crucified.
