PLYMOUTH — A man was arrested after police in Luzerne County said for carrying a gun without a license.
Plymouth police were called to the area of the Carey Avenue Bridge around 5 p.m. Wednesday after three people were spotted shooting a gun by the river.
Authorities said they found a man and two women in the area and approached.
According to officers, Jimmy Bell, 20, of Plymouth began acting suspiciously as police moved closer. Officers said they saw a handgun in his pocket.
Authorities said Bell did not have a license to carry the gun. Police said Bell made threatening comments in the back of the police car about attacking the officers and his gang affiliations.
