KINGSTON — A bank branch in Luzerne County is scheduled to close this June.
Officials at PNC Bank say the branch at 100 Wyoming Avenue in Kingston is closing on June 21. PNC customer accounts will be transferred to the Kingston branch at 664 Wyoming Avenue.
A PNC spokesman said research shows that many people are using online and mobile devices for their banking needs.
The spokesman said there are no plans to fire any staff at the closing PNC. Officials hope to re-assign workers to other branches.
