HANOVER TOWNSHIP -- A car drove off the highway Monday night in Luzerne County.
Police said the driver was driving north on Interstate 81, near the Nuangola exit in Hanover Township, when he veered off the road, and down an embankment.
The driver was taken to the hospital to be checked out, but officials said that he was talking to rescue crews, and appeared to be okay.
No word on why the accident happened.
