SCRANTON -- Kids and their families in Lackawanna County just couldn't wait for the Easter Bunny to arrive.
Many spent the day at this year's Greater Scranton Jaycees Easter Egg Scramble at Nay Aug Park in Scranton on Sunday.
Dozens of children waited for the go ahead to begin the hunt and gather as many eggs as they could. Some say they're families traveled from out of the area to make this year's egg scramble.
"Kids come from all over. We have our grand kids from Florida that can't wait for the egg hunts that come to Pennsylvania where it's a little chilly and our other ones come from Forest City. We come from all over to enjoy the egg hunts," said Donna Gavern of Gouldsboro.
The event in Scranton was free for families.
