DUNNSTOWN —  One person is dead after a car crash in Dunnstown, near Lock Haven, early Saturday morning.

According to officials, Skyler Wool, a 22 year old male from Jersey Shore, was driving south on State Route 150, when he lost control of his vehicle just before Fargus Island Road at 1:20 a.m.

Police said Wool traveled off the roadway, and when trying to gain control and steer back onto the road, his car slid sideways into a utility pole.

Officials said the vehicle became airborne multiple times, striking trees, and after traveling 270 feet, came to a final rest on the driver side of the vehicle in the yard of a residence.

The coroner pronounced Skyler Wool dead at the crash scene in Clinton County.
