HARRISBURG — Former Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin was honored by the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Tuesday in Harrisburg.

In House chambers, Representative Marty Flynn spoke of McGloin’s achievements while at Penn State.

McGloin, who is from west Scranton, was a walk-on with the Nittany Lions.

After the child sex abuse scandal broke, he led the football team to a winning season in his senior year and is now poised for a possible professional career.
