WILKES-BARRE -- Wilkes-Barre Police have released the name of a shooting victim killed in the city.

Renold Julien, 26, was shot early Saturday morning in the parking lot of Local 88's, a bar on Poplar Street.

He later died at the hospital.

The gunman took off after the shooting.

Police said they believe the homicide was not a random act, but that is little comfort for people living nearby.

"They try their best to keep the violence down to a minimum, so I trust what they're doing, but sometimes it's a little too close to home, you know," said Ted Randolph, a neighbor.

Investigators are looking for a blue Nissan Altima in connection with the deadly shooting.
