WILKES-BARRE — A couple pleaded guilty Friday to leaving their young children home alone in Luzerne County.
Shane Van Order and Rebecca Gensel left four children – ranging in age from seven years to two months old – alone at their home in Exeter while they went to play pool at a nearby V.F.W.
They were arrested in September of 2012.
Van Order’s mother was the one who tipped off police.
They are scheduled to be sentenced next month in Luzerne County.
