WILKES-BARRE -- Some lucky children in Wilkes-Barre got to meet their heroes, coming all the way from Sesame Street.
Elmo and Super Grover were at the Osterhout Free Library Thursday along South Franklin Street. While they were there, they read stories to children.
Kids also had the opportunity to get their pictures taken with the characters.
"I was so excited to do it, and now I got to do it!"
Elmo and Super Grover will take the stage for "Sesame Street Live" at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza.
The show runs through the weekend at the arena near Wilkes-Barre.
