WILLIAMSPORT -- First and fifth grade students at Cochran Elementary School in Williamsport were in for a surprise. They had an ice cream party in honor of two of their classmates.

"Are you the popular one today? I think so," Charlie Stewart said.

Forman and Charlie Stewart were pretty popular when the brothers found out Forman was the grand prize winner of the Pennsylvania Farm Show Detectives Program.

His name was drawn from among 2,000 children who participated in a scavenger hunt at this year's Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg.

"They went around the farm show and learned about agriculture and filled out, and got a stamp at each station," PA Agriculture Secretary George Greig said.

Even though Forman was the lucky winner, the agriculture department named his six-year-old brother Charlie a winner, too. The boys and their classmates had an ice cream party. The boys also won a year's supply of ice cream from turkey hill!

"It's awesome. Tell me what you did when you won.  I went outside and screamed," Forman said.

Forman and Charlie get a free 1/2 gallon of ice cream every week for one year.

"The boys are thrilled.  They thought they would back up with a truck load of ice cream, but they are pretty pleased with the certificates," Paul Starkey said.

The family says this is the first time Forman and Charlie were ever at the farm show. Judging from all these smiles, it certainly won't be the last.

"What's your favorite kind of ice cream? Chocolate," Forman said.

"It's kinda mixed between vanilla and chocolate," Charlie said.

...and they can have as much chocolate and vanilla ice cream as they want...a child's dream come true!
