Man in Jail On Sex Assault Charges

WILKES-BARRE — A man is in jail for sex charges that happened in 2012.

According to police, Melvin Hall, of Wilkes-Barre, sexually assaulted a 15-year-old several times last year.

Hall allegedly threatened the 15-year-old, and told her he would have her family beat up if she told anyone.

Hall is charged with corruption of minors, sexual assault, statutory assault, and related charges.
