Truck Crash Closes I-80

WHITE DEER TOWNSHIP -- Interstate 80 in Union County was closed and a truck driver was rushed to the hospital after a crash Sunday evening.

Troopers said the truck wreck happened around 5:30 p.m. on I-80 near Allenwood.

State police said the tractor-trailer left the road, hit a few trees and a guard rail, then came to rest on White Deer Pike.

The driver, Danny Hill, 60, was taken to the hospital for chest pains.

The crash is under investigation.
