Call it a reason to get really revved up! Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships are getting set to accelerate a massive on-line fundraising campaign.

"Instead of giving to one big charity organization. We wanted to give to many," Adam Alexander, of Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships.

Adam Alexander helps run his family`s car dealerships throughout central Pennsylvania. The business has donated $125,000 for a new online fundraising effort called. 'Raise the Region'  the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania, a group whose mission is to make central PA better, is behind the event making sure your donations are handled just right.

"It`s an initiative that is really benefiting non-profits, 161, in six different counties: Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union counties," said Glenn Smith, with the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania.

Here`s how the online campaign will work: starting at midnight tonight and going through 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, you can go online to RaisetheRegion.org to make a tax deductible donation to the charity of your choice.  The minimum gift that Blaise Alexander family dealerships will match is $25.00 and the maximum is $10,000.

As the 150 plus non-profits that`ll benefit from this campaign. They range from everything from local red cross chapters to the eastern Lycoming branch YMCA in the Muncy area

"The money that would be raised would go to our `Strong Kids Campaign` that we run every year. It`s money that goes toward scholarships for folks in the community who couldn`t afford our fees," said Mark Casson, who is part of the Eastern Lycoming YMCA.

"I think it`s awesome.  I think it`s a great way to raise money. An easy way to raise money. Matching someone else`s funds," said "Emily Engel of Williamsport.
