Downtown Wilkes-Barre Business Association’s 5th Annual East Egg Hunt
Downtown Wilkes-Barre Business Association sponsors the 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Public Square in Wilkes-Barre. It’s free to the public Saturday, March 23 at 10 a.m. It’s followed by face painting & balloon animals at Midtown Village at 10:30 a.m., a story time at Barnes & Nobel at 11 a.m., along with a puppet show & Easter craft at the Osterhout Library at 11:30 a.m.. There’s free parking at Genetti’s Best Western. Bring the camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny!
Columbia County Bicentennial – 200th Anniversary Celebration
The public is welcome to the Columbia County Bicentennial – 200th Anniversary Celebration. It starts on Friday, March 22 at noon with a Courthouse Re-enactment of the original proclamation. For Saturday, March 23 there are all day events kicked off with a walk/run followed by a large parade. The Bloomsburg Fairgrounds Arts & Crafts Building will be open for food, exhibits, entertainment & fireworks.
