WEST HAZLETON — Police in Luzerne County now tell us it could take months before they make arrests in an alleged gang-rape involving a mentally challenged woman.
Officers said the 18-year-old victim told them she was attacked last week at a home along Winters Avenue in west Hazleton.
Investigators have identified four suspects.
The west Hazleton police chief initially said arrests could happen this week.
He now said they’ll have to wait months for DNA results to come back.
