HAZLETON — A man is behind bars after Hazleton Police said he brandished a knife in public then picked a fight with responding officers.
Authorities said Sean Cox, 24, of Hilltop Road pulled out a knife at a business on Alter Street around 6:00 Wednesday evening.
According to police, Cox threatened people at the business with the knife. When police arrived and tried to subdue him, Cox fought back. He was eventually arrested and charged with endangering the public and resisting arrest.
He is currently locked up in Luzerne County jail awaiting arraignment.
