WOLF TOWNSHIP — A jury in Lycoming County convicted a man today on five of six assault charges.
Robert Lyons, 45, of Hughesville was arrested back in July of 2012. After allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and threatening to shoot two police officers.
It happened at Lyons’ home on Horn Hill Road in Wolf Township.
Investigators said Lyons’ record shows he had a criminal history with firearms and was not allowed to have guns.
He still faces trial on weapons charges in Lycoming County.
