POINT TOWNSHIP — A home in Northumberland County was burglarized Tuesday morning while the homeowner was inside, according to investigators.
It happened around 11:30 a.m. along Ridge Road near Northumberland.
According to officers, a man got in through a window and came face to face with the homeowner. The homeowner ran out the front door while the burglar stole jewelry and ran to a getaway car.
The car was described as a blue hatchback or wagon.
