Man Sentenced For Crash That Killed Teacher

MAHANOY CITY — In Schuylkill County, a man who admitted causing a crash that killed a teacher was sentenced.

Edward O’Boyle of Mahanoy City received three and a half to seven years in prison.

In January, he pleaded guilty to homicide by vehicle while driving drunk.jeffery donnelly

Investigators say O’Boyle hit a motorcycle driven by Jeffrey Donnelly, 51, of Barnesville September of 2011.

Donnelly, a teacher in the Mahanoy Area School District, was killed.
