Man Charged for Killing a Motorcycle Driver

MAHANOY CITY — A Schuylkill County judge sentenced a man Monday for killing a motorcycle driver who was a teacher at Mahanoy Area School District.

Edward O’Boyle will spend up to seven years in prison for being intoxicated at the time of the crash.

The victim was Jeff Donnelly of Barnesville, a shop teacher and a coach at Mahanoy Area.

He was killed in September of 2011.
