NANTICOKE — The owner of a bar in Luzerne County led police on a chase early Sunday morning, according to investigators.
Officers said Paul Halliday, 38, hit two telephone poles and a vehicle after leaving the Prospect Street Cafe in Nanticoke. He eventually drove into some woods and police said they found him lying in some brush near Line Street.
He told officers he was trying to get away from two men who threatened him at the bar.
Halliday is facing a number of charges including D.U.I. and fleeing from police.
