Hit and Run into a House in Scranton

SCRANTON — A car ran off the road Saturday night in Lackawanna County.

Officials told us that the driver ran off of Penwood Drive, through some bushes, and into a house around 11:40 p.m.

There were no visible signs of damage to the house, but the car also hit a gas meter causing it to leak.

UGI made necessary repairs.

The car took off, and there is no word if anyone is charged.
