CANTON TOWNSHIP — A high school senior was killed in a crash Friday morning in Bradford County.
Administrators in the Canton Area School District tell us Brandon McNett died in the two-car crash along Route 14 near Canton.
It happened before 8 a.m. Friday.
State police say a woman and two children in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital.
Matt Gordon, the Canton Area superintendent issued the following statement:
“Brandon was enrolled at the Northern Tier Career Center in Building Construction and a former FFA member. The High School Principal, Mr. Craig Coleman met with the Senior Class to inform them of the passing of their classmate. The district has grief counselors from North Western Human Services, members of the Canton ministerial group, and our own staff providing emotional first aid and grief counseling today at the school. We will continue to provide counseling for students and staff through this grieving process for as long as it is needed.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to Brandon’s family and to the injured driver and passengers of the other vehicle.”
