WILKES-BARRE — The theft of copper pipes from a home for sale in Luzerne County apparently ended up flooding the home.

When the real estate agent showed up Thursday afternoon to check the place before closing on the property, she found all the copper pipes gone and three feet of water in the basement.

The sale of the house in the 300 block of East Northampton Street in Wilkes-Barre is now on hold.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Wilkes-Barre police.
