Work On Damaged Bridge To Begin

SCRANTON — Work is scheduled to begin in a week and a half on the span which takes Moosic Street over the Central Scranton Expressway, according to a PennDOT spokesperson.

The bridge in Scranton was damaged in November, when it was struck by heavy equipment.

Plans are to have two of the four lanes on the bridge open by July, one lane into downtown Scranton and one lane out.
