Man Arrested For Causing Deadly Wreck

DUNMORE — State Police arrested a man in Lackawanna County for allegedly causing a deadly wreck on Saturday.

Matthew Gajdys was driving his Jeep along Route 435 near Gouldsboro when police say he turned into the path of a tractor trailer. Gajdys’ passenger, 33-year-old Michael Evans of Archbald was killed.

Gajdys was arrested today and charged with homicide by vehicle in Lackawanna County.
