Child Hit by Truck

SCRANTON — An 11-year-old child is recovering after being hit by a car Monday night in Scranton.

Police said it happened after 7:00 p.m. on the 2000 block of Jackson Street.

According to authorities, the child walked out behind a truck and was hit.  Crews took the victim to the hospital.  He is expected to recover.

Police said at this point, the driver has not been charged.
